Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead Data Analytics & Data Science to own and drive analytics initiatives end-to-end across client engagements and internal business use cases.
This is a judgment-led, client-facing leadership role. It is not a hands-on-only data scientist role and not a reporting-only MIS position.
The role requires strong commercial understanding, stakeholder manaement, and the ability to structure analytics work into scalable, repeatable capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own analytics engagements from discovery to delivery
- Lead client discussions, scope analytics requirements, and set expectations
- Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks
- Review and validate dashboards, SQL logic, forecasting models, and assumptions
- Ensure insights are actionable and decision-oriented
- Mentor junior analysts and standardize reporting templates and processes
- Build scalable forecasting and predictive analytics capabilities
- Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to align analytics with product and operations
Must Have Qualifications
- 610 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or analytics consulting
- Experience owning analytics delivery for business stakeholders or clients
- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau
- Exposure to forecasting, predictive analytics, or statistical analysis
- Experience defining KPIs and building decision-ready dashboards
- Ability to challenge assumptions and push back on unclear requirements
- Experience mentoring or guiding analysts
Preferred Background
- Experience in retail, F&B, quick commerce, B2C apps, or operations-heavy environments
- Experience working with cross-functional leadership teams
- Exposure to AI-assisted workflows or advanced analytics initiatives

- Not a BI dashboard developer role
- Not a product management role
