Rpg/AS400 Developer @ Quinnox

Job Description

Key Responsibilities-

Develop, customize, and maintain RPG applications supporting core banking systems on IBM i (AS/400).

Implement enhancements and customizations to core banking processes such as accounts, transactions, interest calculations,  fees, and reporting.

Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into technical designs and RPG programs.

Work with DB2/400 and SQL Server databases, including data modelling, queries, and performance optimization.

Integrate core banking modules with upstream and downstream systems using batch jobs, files, and APIs (where applicable).

Support day-end, month-end, and year-end batch processing.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.

Ensure system changes comply with banking controls, audit, security, and regulatory standards.

Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Collaborate with business users, core banking vendors, and internal IT teams
