Senior Sourcing Analyst Knowledge Services
Location: Coimbatore (CBE 10)
Experience: 3 6 Years
About the Role
We are hiring experienced Strategic Sourcing professionals to manage end-to-end global procurement projects.
This role requires hands-on ownership of:
- RFx management (RFI / RFP / RFQ)
- Spend analysis
- Supplier negotiations
- Contract management
- Cost optimization initiatives
You will work closely with global stakeholders (NA / EMEA / APAC) and drive measurable sourcing impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete end-to-end sourcing lifecycle
- Conduct detailed spend analysis & opportunity identification
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies
- Build supplier evaluation scorecards & risk assessments
- Lead supplier negotiations and deliver measurable cost savings
- Draft and translate business requirements into Statements of Work (SOW)
- Manage supplier onboarding, governance & compliance
- Track sourcing KPIs & dashboards
- Support Tail Spend / Spot Buy / Buy Desk activities when required
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies & SLAs
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across regions
Mandatory Skills & Experience
36 years of hands-on Strategic Sourcing experience
Proven ownership of complete RFx lifecycle
Experience in IT / Professional Services / Indirect categories
Strong hands-on experience in:
- Supplier negotiation
- Contract management
- Spend analysis
- Cost optimization initiatives
Exposure to SAP / Ariba / Coupa / Ivalua / Jaggaer / P2P systems
Advanced Excel (mandatory)
Experience working with global stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously
Good to Have
- Experience in Consulting / Knowledge Services environment
- Exposure to global client delivery model
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau
- Exposure to Digital Procurement / Procurement Transformation
Preferred Candidate Profile (Important)
We are looking strictly for Strategic Sourcing professionals, not operational buyers.
The ideal candidate:
- Has independently managed RFP / RFQ processes
- Can demonstrate measurable cost savings
- Has experience in supplier evaluation & SOW drafting
- Is comfortable interacting with client stakeholders
- Has worked in fast-paced, delivery-driven environments
- Demonstrates strong ownership, accountability & analytical thinking
Important Note
This role is best suited for professionals with hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and RFx ownership.
Profiles demonstrating experience in category strategy development, supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and end-to-end sourcing project management will be prioritized.
