Job Description
- Datacenter activities like cabling,new rack installation etc should be effectively planned, reviewed and executed
2. Datacenter CMDB should be available and updated and kept at central location
3. Ensure all SLA metrics are met as per agreed SLA norms for all deliverables.
4. Identify risks, threats and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
5. Should be aware about ITSM / ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISAE3402, SOX 404 and Customer specific audit for overall physical infrastructure management process.
6. Coordinate with Service provider for DC power, cooling & associated infrastructure (FAS/WLDS/ACS/VESDA/CCTV) and Coordinate with facilities on the RCA for all the incidents.
7. Provided Monthly/ Weekly reporting of capacity, critical issues and ensure delivery of reports and tasks.
8. Manage all Commissioning and decommissioning of equipments (Server devices, Network Devices, Storage, etc) and ensuring standards/policies are adhered.
9. Plan, Analyze and Coordinate with Business/ Support teams for planned/unplanned downtime of server, network , storage etc.
10. Value Creation through Service Improvement Plans (SIPs), Reviewing Customer Feedbacks, etc.
11. Communicating and sharing Best Practices and Lessons Learned within the organization and from Clients.
12. Responsible for completing all the requirements, Implementations and documentation w.r.t Physical infrastructure (Power/Cooling/Rack/Cabling/etc).
13. Efficiently manage floor and rack space in the data center to maximize usage and minimize costs.
14. Coordinate with service provider to Maintain, control and audit data center security and access provisioning.
15. Establish and set Standards and Policy for installations and DC controls to increase and optimize productivity, review and update as required.
16. Create, Publish & Review SOPs w.r.t Data Centers
17. Strong in Vendor Management and Act as a Single Point of contact for DC domain to manage the operations at all DC across India.
18. Strong in Problem Management and RCA management for end to end closure of the issue.
