Job Title: SAP Variant Configuration (AVC) Consultant
Location: [Bangalore location]
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes with a focus on product configuration, production planning, and order fulfillment.
- Create and maintain:
- Characteristics, classes, and classification hierarchies
- Configurable materials and configuration profiles
- Bills of material (BOM), routings, and object dependencies (rules, constraints, selection conditions)
- Variant tables, functions, and pricing models
- Perform functional and integration testing of Variant Configuration (VC) and SSC models.
- Translate existing VC data structures to AVC in SAP S/4HANA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, sales, and procurement to ensure configuration requirements are met.
- Support documentation and training for new product models.
- Ensure system scalability and reliability in collaboration with IT and third-party vendors.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP VC or AVC modeling.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules like SD, and their integration with VC.
- Experience with S/4HANA and Advanced Variant Configuration is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and relational databases is a plus.
