TCS is Hiring Middleware L2 Engineer For Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore location

Experience : 5 - 9 years

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must have:

• Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows server administration.
• Basic knowledge of middleware architecture, deployments, and logs.
• Understanding of SSL, ports, certificates, and networking basics.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools, monitoring tools, and patching processes.
• Ability to follow runbooks and SOPs.
  

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of middleware servers.
• Provide L2 operational support for middleware
• Platforms including:
• JBoss
• WebSphere
• Tomcat
• WebLogic
• IIS
• Monitor middleware health, logs, and performance; resolve incidents, alerts, and service requests.
• Handle ticket escalations from L1/OPS teams and provide timely resolution.
• Provide day-to-day support, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting for IIS-hosted, JSP-hosted applications, websites, and applications pools.
• Execute patching activities using defined automation or procedures.
• Maintain middleware inventory and configuration details.
• Follow SOPs, change management, and security compliance guidelines.
• Participate in overnight on-call and shift support rotations.
• Assist in application certification testing on middleware platforms.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
