UI/UX Engineer AI & Engineering SaaS ()
Role Overview
We are seeking a UX-driven UI/UX Engineer to design intuitive, scalable, and high-trust user experiences for an AI-powered Design Review and CAx Workflow Automation SaaS platform.
Our product is used by engineers to review designs, analyze changes, and collaborate across CAD, CAM, CAE, and PLM workflows.
This role prioritizes UX strategy and workflow thinking over visual UI alone. The ideal candidate must be strong in defining user journeys, complex workflows, and dashboard experiences for data-heavy engineering systems. UI execution should enhance clarity, professionalism, and usability but UX architecture comes first.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end user journeys and complex engineering workflows
- Design dashboard UX for AI-powered design review systems
- Translate AI insights, validations, and design diffs into clear, usable interaction patterns
- Create wireframes, workflow maps, prototypes, and detailed UX specifications
- Design data-heavy and visualization-rich interfaces
- Ensure human-centered design and accessibility standards
- Deliver responsive experiences across desktop and mobile platforms
- Build and maintain structured design systems
- Collaborate with AI, product, and engineering teams to create explainable AI interfaces
- Contribute to front-end implementation when required
Required Experience
- 38+ years of experience in UX/UI design (B2B SaaS or enterprise products preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow-driven systems
- Proven experience designing dashboards and data visualization interfaces
- Strong UX fundamentals: interaction design, usability, research, workflow modeling
- Expertise in Figma and Sketch (Must-have)
- Experience in human-centered design and accessibility
- Understanding of responsive design for desktop and mobile
Technical Exposure (Good to Have)
- Front-end experience with React / Next.js / TypeScript / HTML / CSS
- Experience with engineering or industrial software
- Exposure to CAD viewers, document viewers, or visualization tools
- Experience designing AI-powered or data-driven platforms
- Familiarity with enterprise design systems
