Location - Bengaluru/Hyderabad
Shift Time: 2 PM - 11 PM IST
Mandatory Skills: (C# is good to have) or any other programming language along with scripting (PowerShell, Bash), and deep knowledge of protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), tools (Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Security / Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure authentication and authorization solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect, and will play a key role in protecting enterprise and customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
- Integrate applications with SSO, federation, and identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Ping, Keycloak)
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms
- Configure and maintain identity federation, role-based access control (RBAC), and least-privilege access
- Collaborate with application, cloud, and security teams to onboard applications into IAM platforms
- Troubleshoot authentication issues, token flows, and federation failures
- Monitor and improve IAM security posture, including MFA, conditional access, and session management
- Develop and maintain IAM-related documentation, standards, and best practices
- Support security audits, compliance requirements, and incident response activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Experience integrating applications with Identity Providers (IdPs) and Service Providers (SPs)
- Solid understanding of authentication flows, tokens, claims, assertions, and cryptographic concepts
- Experience with IAM platforms such as Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or Keycloak
- Knowledge of MFA, SSO, identity federation, and access governance
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, JWT, and HTTPS
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting security events
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and modern security architectures
- Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
