Job Description
Experience - 4+ years
Location - Bengaluru/Hyderabad
Shift Timings - 2 PM - 11 PM IST
Role Summary - Key Responsibilities
Strategic thinker
- Understands the big picture of what the System Team is expected to provide
- Translates goals into actionable steps and offers recommendations that align with objectives
- Asks strong clarifying questions (scope, assumptions, acceptance criteria, and timeline expectations)
- Validates direction early (quick demos, checkpoints, feedback loops, integrated quality checks)
Self-management
- Plans and prioritizes work (manages own backlog, focuses on highest-value items, keeps the value stream moving through proactive communication)
- Communicates clearly (proactive updates, raises risks, asks for help/clarification early, keeps GitHub up to date)
Teamwork
- Collaborates effectively and strengthens the team by sharing approaches and solutions
Engineering delivery
- Builds and improves pipelines (build, test, and deploy automation)
- Automates repetitive work
Quality, reliability, and enablement
- Troubleshoots effectively
- Understands testing fundamentals
- Documents and creates self-service assets (templates, how-tos, and runbooks)
Tech stack (React + Python)
UI (Web)
- React + TypeScript
- Next.js (optional)
- Component library: Material UI (MUI)
- Charts: ECharts or Plotly (for the ADO (Azure DevOps) + GitHub roll-up dashboard)
Backend (APIs + integrations)
- Python: FastAPI (REST APIs, webhook receiver, good performance)
- Background jobs/workers: Celery (with Redis) or Azure Functions for async tasks
- AuthN/AuthZ: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for user login; GitHub App (preferred) for GitHub API access
- Observability: Application Insights (logs, traces, alerts)
Database
Primary (transactional / system-of-record): PostgreSQL
- Best default for: integration tracking, audit logs, mappings , workflow state, notifications.
- Common deployment: Azure Database for PostgreSQL (Flexible Server)
