Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end to end solutions for core banking and digital platforms supporting modernization and transformation initiatives.
- Lead integration of core banking solutions within complex enterprise environments, including legacy systems, middleware, APIs, and modern technology stacks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to align architecture with banking products across deposits, lending, payments, and commercial banking.
- Define solution architecture artifacts including high level designs, integration diagrams, data flows, and non functional requirements.
- Apply enterprise architecture principles to ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, compliant, and future ready.
- Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and compliance standards applicable to financial services.
- Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance to cross functional delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Participate in solution design reviews, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in financial services technology with strong exposure to core banking systems.
- Proven experience architecting enterprise scale core banking solutions in retail or commercial banking environments.
- Strong understanding of banking operations and workflows, including accounts, payments, lending, and customer servicing.
- Expertise in API led integration, service oriented architecture, and middleware platforms.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP), including hybrid and cloud native architectures.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and event driven architectures.
- Experience working on large scale core banking modernization or digital transformation programs.
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Master s degree or architecture certifications are a plus
