Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Support & Development of SAS Visual Analytics dashboards and reports to to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualization solutions.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Perform data integration, transformation, and preparation using SAS datasets or external data sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Support ad-hoc reporting needs and provide technical expertise in SAS VA.
- Troubleshoot issues, fine-tune existing dashboards, and implement enhancements.
- Document processes, reports, and business logic for future reference.
Work with cross-functional teams to promote a data-driven decision-making culture.
Preferred candidate profile
Education
- Bachelors / masters degree in computer science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Skills: -
- Strong hands-on experience with SAS Visual Analytics.
- Proficiency in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS SQL, Macros).
- Experience with data preparation, ETL, and reporting in SAS environment.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design best practices.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into analytical outputs.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of SAS Management Console, SAS Enterprise Guide, or SAS Studio is a plus.
