Technical Fundamentals
Strong Java 8+ knowledge
Solid understanding of Spring Framework and Hibernate/JPA concepts
Proficiency in SQL, relational database fundamentals
Familiarity with Gradle and build pipelines
Solid understanding of testing concepts (JUnit, mocking, test structure)
Soft Skills
Patience, attention to detail, and discipline
Clear communication and comfort with ambiguity
Risk awareness and ability to document decisions effectively
Testing Mindset
Ability to write meaningful unit and integration tests
Healthy skepticismknows that compiling isnt the same as working
AI Collaboration
Ability to use AI tools effectively for research and guidance
Critical thinking to validate and challenge AI outputs

Javax Jakarta migration experience
