Job Title: Lead Solution Architect Core Banking Transformation
Location: Hyderabad - Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect Core Banking to drive end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale core banking transformation programs.
This role will contribute across pre-sales, solutioning, and implementation governance, working closely with Core Banking OEM partners (Temenos, Finastra, Oracle, etc.) and ensuring architectural integrity across the banking ecosystem.
The position is suited for a senior architect from a System Integrator (SI) background with strong integration and multi-vendor experience.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Deal Support
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and technical solution articulation
- Define high-level architecture and integration blueprints
- Collaborate with Core Banking partners to shape joint solution models
- Support effort estimation, solution costing, and risk identification
- Participate in client presentations and technical discussions
Solution & Integration Architecture
- Design end-to-end architecture across Core Banking platform, Digital Channels (Mobile & Internet Banking), CRM, Payments systems, AML/Fraud, Regulatory reporting systems, and Data warehouse/analytics platforms
- Define API-led, microservices-based, and event-driven integration patterns
- Establish middleware/ESB/iPaaS architecture
- Define canonical data models and integration standards
- Ensure scalability, security, resilience, and performance compliance
Governance & Delivery Oversight
- Provide architectural oversight during the implementation lifecycle
- Conduct solution reviews and ensure alignment to approved designs
- Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate across OEM partners, client stakeholders, and delivery teams
Required Experience
- 1418 years of experience in Banking Technology
- 5+ years in Solution or Domain Architecture roles within Core Banking programs
- Experience with at least one leading Core Banking platform
- Strong understanding of banking domains including CASA, Lending, and Payments
- Expertise in integration architecture, APIs, middleware, and cloud environments
- Prior experience in SI-led transformation programs and RFP solutioning
Key Competencies
- Core Banking ecosystem expertise
- Multi-vendor solution orchestration
- Strong documentation and executive communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable architecture
Preferred
TOGAF or relevant architecture certification; exposure to large-scale core modernization initiatives.
