Job DescriptionThe Manager SAP EWM is responsible for leading end to end SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) engagements, driving solution strategy, ensuring delivery excellence and managing a team of consultants.
The role requires deep functional expertise in EWM, strong cross functional integration knowledge (SAP SD/PP/MM), and the ability to guide clients through complex warehouse and supply chain transformation initiatives.
The Manager may be assigned to multiple projects and strategic initiatives based on organizational needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Delivery Leadership
- Lead and oversee fullcycle SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and golive support.
- Drive requirement workshops with business stakeholders and translate needs into scalable, highquality EWM solutions.
- Provide governance and ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Resolve complex functional and integration issues across EWM and other SAP modules (SD/PP/MM).
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of consultants and senior consultants.
- Review deliverables, provide quality checks, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional leaders, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Process & Solution Excellence
- Define best practices, reusable assets, and templates for EWM projects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP practice.
- Provide thought leadership in areas such as warehouse automation, mobility solutions, and advanced EWM functionalities.
Essential SkillsJob 812+ years of SAP experience with a minimum of 5+ years in EWM.
Must have led 12 end-to-end EWM implementations in a managerial or lead consultant
capacity
Candidate must have worked on Embedded EWM in the past and should have exposure on this.
Strong understanding of EWM end-to-end business processes and warehouse operations.
Expertise in integration with SAP SD, MM, PP and understanding of RICEF objects.. Handson experience with:
- Storage Types, Sections, Bins configuration
- Availability group configurations
- Warehouse Process Types and Determination
- Putaway & Stock Removal Strategies
- Inbound POSC with Deconsolidation
- Outbound Delivery Mapping (Document & Item Types)
- Physical Inventory, Replenishment
- Batch Management & Cross-Docking
- EWMQM Integration
- PPF configuration, RF framework, and queue monitoring
- EWM Organizational Structure
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven capability to lead teams and manage client expectations.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- SAP EWM Certification is an advantage.
- Experience in S/4HANA EWM.
- Ability to collaborate with global teams in onsiteoffshore models.
- Selfmotivated, proactive, and capable of driving initiatives independently.
