Role overview

The SAP PP with MES Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and integration of SAP Production Planning (PP) with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This role ensures seamless production operations, data synchronization, and real-time shop floor visibility across manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle SAP PP implementations with MES integration.
• Design and configure PP modules including MRP, MPS, BOMs, Routings, and Work Centers.
• Integrate SAP PP with MES systems (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or custom MES).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production planning with shop floor execution.
• Manage master data governance for materials, production versions, and recipes.
• Ensure real-time data flow between SAP and MES for production orders, confirmations, and quality checks.
• Support digital manufacturing initiatives including IoT, predictive maintenance, and smart factory setups.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and provide post-go-live support.
• Lead testing phases including integration testing, UAT, and validation.
• Coordinate with offshore teams for development and support.
