Job Description
As a Spec Analytics Sr Grp Mgr, you will be managing multiple teams through other managers, contributing to achieving the objectives of the function and understanding the industry and competitors' products and services. Your role will involve executing functional strategy, determining the approach, and being accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, and policy formulation. You will have full management responsibility for multiple teams, including managing people, budget, and planning, as well as performing duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrably understand data sources and analytic techniques used by large consumer finance institutions
Lead and innovate in customer recognition, cross-channel servicing, marketing, digital acquisitions, and client retention
Articulate a regional strategy accepted by stakeholders to build next-generation data platforms and analytics solutions
Advocate for the value of analytics in refining business outcomes and promote analytics talent
Appropriately assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
Qualifications:
20+ years of experience, including 15+ years of managerial experience
Proficiency in Financial/Business Analysis, credit/risk analysis, and impact analysis on key business drivers
Deep understanding of program performance, business plans, and P&L impacts
Expertise in statistical modeling, big data/machine learning, data analysis, and project management
Strategic management consulting experience
As a Spec Analytics Sr Grp Mgr, you will be a key player in analytics and information management across multi-product relationships for customers and households. Your passion for analytics as a craft and the ability to work within the company and across industries to identify and source talent will be crucial for creating sustainable business growth outcomes.
Education:
Bachelors/University degree required, Masters degree preferred; managerial experience
