Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Officer is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving sales of jewellery products, and maintaining high standards of store operations. The role involves understanding customer needs, guiding them through product selections, and ensuring smooth sales transactions while upholding Tanishqs brand values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable jewellery designs
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective selling techniques
- Explain product features, pricing, purity, and certifications clearly to customers
- Handle billing, POS transactions, and documentation accurately
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and overall store appearance
- Build long-term customer relationships and support repeat business
- Ensure adherence to company policies, security procedures, and hygiene standards
- Assist in inventory management, stock checks, and reporting
Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred or 12th Pass
- 13 years of experience in retail sales (jewellery or luxury retail preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a professional appearance
- Basic computer knowledge and billing system familiarity
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
