Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SharePoint Team Lead to join our Digital Workplace team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration, with strong expertise in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and automation solutions. This role involves leading a team of developers, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering scalable, secure, and user-friendly SharePoint solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of SharePoint Online and on-premise solutions using SPFx.
- Architect and implement solutions using Power Platform tools including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline business processes and improve productivity.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage and mentor a team of SharePoint developers and administrators.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and governance.
- Monitor and maintain SharePoint environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 and SharePoint trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 610 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development and administration.
- Strong proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, and PnP libraries.
- Strong proficiency in SharePoint on-premise development using JSOM, JavaScript, jQuery and understanding of Knockout JS.
- Deep understanding of Power Platform Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate, and GitHub.
- Should have understanding on migration tools for SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online migration.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, etc.).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, Azure AD, and security/compliance features.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, MS-600, or equivalent) are a plus.
