Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Order to Cash (O2C) Specialist

Job Summary
Conduent is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable / Order to Cash (O2C) professional to join the Finance Operations team in Whitefield, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, Payment Processing, Collections, and Dispute Management, ensuring efficient revenue cycle management and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Operations
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of receivables.
- Monitor customer accounts and maintain AR aging within defined targets.
- Reconcile AR ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
Order to Cash (O2C) Process
- Handle complete Order to Cash cycle including invoicing, cash application, collections, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and service level agreements (SLAs).
Cash Applications
- Apply customer payments accurately against invoices using ERP systems.
- Investigate and resolve unapplied or unidentified cash transactions.
Payments & Cash Processing
- Process customer payments via multiple modes (bank transfer, cheque, electronic payments).
- Maintain accurate records of incoming cash and ensure proper accounting entries.
Collections
- Perform proactive collections activities including follow-ups with customers via email and phone.
- Work closely with internal teams to reduce overdue balances and improve DSO.
Dispute Management
- Identify and resolve customer billing disputes in coordination with sales, operations, and finance teams.
- Maintain proper documentation and track dispute resolution timelines.
General Ledger Support
- Assist in General Ledger reconciliations related to AR accounts.
- Support month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3.5 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Order to Cash operations.
- Strong knowledge of Cash Application, Payment Processing, Collections, and Dispute Management.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar finance platforms.
- Good understanding of General Ledger and reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in shared services or BPO finance operations.
- Exposure to global AR processes and customer handling.
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
