Project Manager - Telecom Service delivery

Location: Mumbai/Gurgaon


Role Overview & Mission


The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT and telecom solutions. Working across multinational teams, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in line with customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define project objectives, deliverables, key indicators, and timelines in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and communication frameworks
  • Lead cross-functional virtual teams including technical, operational, and third-party resources
  • Monitor project progress and manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and internal stakeholders during project execution
  • Identify and mitigate risks, escalating where appropriate to ensure project success
  • Conduct regular project governance reviews and present updates to senior management and customers
  • Ensure smooth handover from project delivery to operational teams at project close
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams and customer organizations

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in IT or telecom project management
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
  • Experience managing complex, multinational projects with virtual teams
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
  • Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with project tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Confluence)
  • ITIL awareness is an asset
  • P uency in English; additional languages are an assetP
