Job Description
Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Data Governance & Quality Analyst. This resource will be working Remotely until afternoon EST (US Time Zone).
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Description:
- At least 5+ years hands on experience on Data Analysis with Technical background
o Having database skills to perform huge operations /queries and analysis (both structured/unstructured - SQL server/oracle etc.)
o Familiarity with data integration concepts (ETL/ELT).
o Working knowledge on tools like Power Apps
o Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP is a plus).
o Working knowledge/experience on requirements gathering and translating business needs into data rules.
o Understanding of business processes in domains like finance, operations, etc. - Strong understanding on Data Governance & Data Quality Processing
o Understanding of data governance frameworks
Ability to define and maintain:
Data standards
Data policies
Data quality rules
Data stewardship processes
o Data profiling, data cleansing, and quality monitoring.
Ability to analyze data for:
Completeness
Accuracy
Consistency
Timeliness
o Familiarity with data quality tools (examples: Informatica Data Quality, Talend, Collibra DQ)
o Experience with metadata management and creating business glossaries.
- Good Communication & Soft Skills
o Coordination with data stewards, architects, IT teams, and leadership
o Ability to explain data issues
o Attention to detail - Problem solving and root-cause analysis
