Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations:
1. Assign daily tasks to testing engineers based on FAT priorities.
2. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure PTW compliance before energizing power supply trolleys.
3. Supervise testing activities to ensure adherence to WIS and HIRA guidelines.
4. Monitor and ensure readiness of panels before FRT.
5. Address technical queries with support from FAT Leads.
6. Track and report daily testing output and team attendance.
Safety & Compliance:
1. Identify and intervene in unsafe acts and conditions.
2. Ensure strict adherence to EHS guidelines and participate in internal/external audits.
3. Maintain records of PTW, unsafe acts/conditions, and test equipment calibration.
Equipment & Documentation:
1. Oversee calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of testing equipment.
2. Ensure proper documentation of test procedures, findings, and results.
3. Operate various types of test equipment as required.
Training & Development:
1. Provide product and process training to test engineers.
2. Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional team (CFT) collaboration.
Additional Duties:
1. Maintain 5S and general upkeep of the work area.
2. Participate in audits and problem-solving activities.
3. Occasionally perform duties of Final Quality Release Engineer or FAT Supervisor.
4. Visit vendor premises for in-process inspections.
5. Suggest improvements in quality and safety processes.
Minimum Qualification Required for the job
- Degree in Electrical with 4-6 years' experience or Diploma in Electrical with 6-8 years' experience.
