Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated application deployment, testing, and release management.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain robust Python scripts for automating various cloud operations, pipeline orchestration, and system integrations.
- Provide support for both Linux and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting, patching, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and data science teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud-based solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed to ensure high availability of critical systems.Continuously research and recommend new technologies and best practices to improve our cloud infrastructure and operational efficiency.Document cloud architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
Skills:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.6-10 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience with any Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCPStrong experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating system administration.
Preferred Skills
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run Vertex AI BigQuery and Cloud Functions
- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Podman, GKE
- Knowledge of networking concepts in a cloud environment.
