Role description
We are looking for an experienced senior specialist-azure cloud and infrastructure engineer with strong expertise in azure networking, monitoring, itil and terraform.
Key Responsibilities
Own Azure infrastructure operations ensuring availability performance scalability and resilience across subscriptions and environments
Lead Azure landing zone management management groups subscription vending policies RBAC tagging standards budgets aligned to enterprise governance
Drive identity and access management in partnership with security teams Entra IDAzure AD PIM conditional access MFA service principalsmanaged identities
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code TerraformBicepARM and CICD pipelines for repeatable auditable deployments
Establish monitoring ing and observability standards Azure Monitor Log Analytics Application Insights and ensure actionable dashboards and SLOs
Lead incident problem and change management for Azure platform services coordinate major incident response and rootcause analysis RCA
Plan capacity and performance conduct regular health checks and risk reviews remediate technical debt
Own backup recovery and business continuity posture for platform components validate DR through periodic tests
Optimize cloud spend using Finance Ops practices rightsizing reservationssavings plans storage lifecycle policies cost allocation and showbackchargeback
Ensure compliance with security baselines and audits CISMicrosoft Cloud Security Benchmark and implement hardening and vulnerability remediation
Manage Team in technical and functional deliverables
Coach and mentor engineers contribute to hiring onboarding and skills development promote engineering best practices
Create and maintain highquality documentation runbooks standard operating procedures SOPs and architecture diagrams
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
7 years in infrastructure cloud operations including 3 years leading Azure platform or cloud infrastructure teams
Strong handson experience with Azure networking identity compute storage and governance at enterprise scale
Experience with Infrastructure as Code Terraform andor BicepARM and source control Git with CICD
Operational expertise with ITIL processes incident problem change and running production environments
Strong troubleshooting skills across network OS and cloud platform layers
Excellent communication skills including ability to explain technical risk and tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders
