Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
- Strong experience with React Native, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Good understanding of React concepts, component based design and state management.
- Hands on experience with unit and component testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Perform assigned activities independently and to a consistently high standard.
- Apply sound judgement based on analysis of information and established engineering patterns.
- Influence of decision-making within own area of expertise.
- Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to work delivered.
- Act as a technical advisor within the team where appropriate.
- Have an impact on related teams and collaborate effectively across functions.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and devise efficient solutions.
- Knowledge of Cloud platform like AWS, Azure and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to effectively convey technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership & Mentoring - Team leadership, technical mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
