Job Description

A Supply Chain Manager optimizes the entire lifecycle of goodsfrom procurement and production to storage and distributionto enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery. Key responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, forecasting demand, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing logistics technologies

 

• Strategic Planning & Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Source materials, negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Inventory & Logistics Control: Oversee warehousing, manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock, and coordinate transportation .
• Demand Forecasting & Analysis: Analyze data to forecast demand, identify bottlenecks, and develop, monitor, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs).
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks (e.g., disruptions, compliance issues) and ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
