Job Description
- Inventory & Financial Control: Monitor inventory levels, perform stock reconciliation, and analyze variances to prevent losses.
- Daily Accounting: Handle daily sales, purchase, and expense entries, as well as Petty Cash management.
- Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare daily/monthly financial reports, and reconcile bank statements.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., GST, TDS) and assist with internal/external audits.
- Systems Management: Maintain accurate records in accounting software, such as Tally Prime, SAP, or QuickBooks.

A Store Accountant manages daily financial operations, including sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory tracking (stock reconciliation) at the retail level. The role requires 24 years of experience, a B.Com or similar degree, and strong analytical skills.
