Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Location: PUNE ONLY Hybrid model 3 days onsite.
Experience Level: 4- 6 Years
Experience with Telcom Industry preferrable
Role:- Software Automation Test Engineer (AI-Driven Quality Engineering)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java or Python
- Perform UI and functional testing for web applications using Selenium or Playwright
- Execute API and backend testing using appropriate automation tools
- Research and support the implementation of AI-driven testing capabilities
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python (PyTest/Behave) or Java (TestNG/JUnit)
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Playwright
- Experience in API testing and backend validation
- Good understanding of Git-based version control systems
AI & Emerging Technology Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, data handling)
- Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering concepts
- Awareness of how AI can be applied to software testing processes
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools
- Understanding of Google Vertex AI and any other AI booster
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, especially AI-driven solutions
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
