Job Description
Key Responsibilities:- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support business decisions in banking and insurance operations.
- Model Development: Develop and implement predictive models using SAS, R, and Python to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
- Generative AI Applications: Explore and apply Generative AI techniques to enhance data-driven solutions and create innovative products and services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Cloud Integration: Utilize Azure services for data storage, processing, and model deployment to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the banking and insurance sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAS, R, and Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Generative AI Knowledge: Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and applications.
- Cloud Proficiency: Experience with Azure services for data analytics and model deployment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards in the banking and insurance sectors.
