Job Description
- Manage and resolve investigations related to domestic and international payments, ensuring timely resolution of breaks, exceptions, and customer queries
- Perform end-to-end reconciliations across payment systems, general ledger, and Nostro/Vostro accounts
- Handle SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT) and SEPA Direct Debits (SDD), including inward and outward payment flows
- Process and monitor Inward and Outward Payments, ensuring adherence to SLA and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and reconcile Nostro and Vostro accounts, identifying mismatches and coordinating with correspondent banks
- Interpret and process SWIFT messages including MT103, MT196, MT199, MT202, and MT202 COV
- Investigate failed, delayed, or rejected payments using SWIFT queries and root-cause analysis
- Work with ISO 20022 (MX messages) standards during payment processing and migration activities
- Ensure compliance with Eurozone regulations and compensation mechanisms, including fee handling and settlement accuracy
- Liaise with internal teams, correspondent banks, and customers to resolve payment-related discrepancies efficiently
