About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Frontend Designer who can think through user problems and translate design into clean, functional frontend experiences. This role suits someone who understands that good design is not only about visual appeal, but also usability, performance, and scalability.
You will work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and content teams to build intuitive and consistent web and mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business and user needs into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Convert UI designs into responsive frontend code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure design consistency across all digital platforms and touchpoints.
- Collaborate with product, tech, marketing, and content teams to deliver effective user journeys.
- Build and maintain design systems, UI components, and reusable libraries.
- Optimize pages for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and maintain high visual standards.
- Stay updated with UI/UX trends, frontend best practices, and emerging tools.
Required Skills
Design & UX
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user behaviour.
- Hands-on experience with Figma / Adobe XD / Sketch.
- Experience creating design systems and component-based layouts.
- Ability to produce clear wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specs.
Frontend
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of jQuery, React, or Next.js.
- Understanding responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
- Basic knowledge of performance optimisation and SEO best practices.
Good to Have
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or product-based companies.
- Knowledge of motion design or micro-interactions.
- Basic understanding of APIs, CMS, or backend integration.
- Experience working in agile product teams.
