Location :Bangalore & Mumbai

Work Mode: Hybrid

Shift : 2nd (2pm to 11pm)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Support Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on managing L2 and L3 incidents, ensuring smooth sandbox refreshes, and supporting release management activities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on Salesforce experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident Management (L2 & L3 Support):
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues escalated from L1 support.
    • Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes for recurring problems.
    • Collaborate with Salesforce developers and administrators to resolve technical challenges.
    • Strong Salesforce core skills; knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Flows, Lightning Web Components is a plus.
  • Sandbox Management:
    • Execute and monitor sandbox refreshes across multiple environments.
    • Ensure proper data masking, configuration, and environment setup post-refresh.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to validate sandbox readiness for testing and development.
  • Release Management:
    • Support deployment activities across Salesforce environments.
    • Maintain release calendars and coordinate with development, QA, and business teams.
    • Ensure compliance with change management processes and documentation standards.
    • Validate post-release functionality and provide hypercare support.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve support processes.
    • Document troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
    • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend adoption strategies.
  • Small Enhancements
    • Implement minor enhancements such as flow modifications, Apex changes, batch jobs, and UI changes to LWCs.
    • Work on Salesforce seasonal release items to ensure system stability.
    • Create and maintain GitHub/Azure pipelines using PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 35 years of experience in Salesforce support or administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom applications).
  • Experience with sandbox refreshes and release management tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
  • Experience working in ITIL-based support environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work night shifts at least 1 week per month (6 PM 3:30 AM IST).
