Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Linux BSP / Kernel Engineer with strong expertise in Linux kernel, device drivers, and hardware integration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in BSP development, low-level firmware, boot process, and Qualcomm platforms. You will work closely with hardware and software teams to develop, customize, and optimize Linux-based embedded systems for automotive or embedded products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Linux BSP, kernel, and device drivers for embedded platforms.
• Work on hardware bring-up, board support package (BSP) development, and system integration.
• Debug and optimize Linux kernel, bootloader, and low-level firmware.
• Integrate and validate hardware peripherals and interfaces with the Linux kernel.
• Work on Qualcomm-based platforms and support kernel and driver development.
• Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and performance tuning at the kernel level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and application teams.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Linux Kernel and Device Driver Development
• Hands-on experience with BSP development and board bring-up
• Good understanding of hardware interfaces and integration
• Experience working with Qualcomm chipsets/platforms
• Knowledge of bootloaders, low-level firmware, and boot process
• Strong debugging skills in kernel and driver layers
• Proficiency in Embedded C and Linux internals

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Yocto or Buildroot
• Exposure to automotive embedded systems
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
• Knowledge of Linux performance optimization and system debugging tools

Qualification

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
