Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with strong handson experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating PolicyCenter Cloud implementations, integrations, and configurations to ensure high-quality, reliable insurance solutions. This role requires expertise in functional and automation testing, API validation, cloud environments, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud implementations.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across PolicyCenter modules.
- Validate cloud deployment configurations, APIs, and integrations with external systems.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar).
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure complete requirement coverage.
- Conduct defect tracking, reporting, and follow-ups using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Ensure testing aligns with cloud security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, preferably with Cloud version.
- Strong understanding of PolicyCenter configuration, rating engine, and integration points.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP / GWC) and cloud deployment processes.
- Proficiency in test automation using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Good understanding of insurance domain and PolicyCenter workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter or Guidewire Cloud.
