Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform endtoend QA for Duck Creek Data Insights, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and quality across pipelines.
- Utilize SQL queries to clean, transform, validate, and load data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud data storage).
- Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MySQL and Oracle.
- Perform database administration activities including backup, recovery, performance tuning, and environment maintenance.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Validate data integrity, security controls, and compliance across all database systems.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to define database schemas, data models, and integration structures.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, data validation scripts, and defect reports.
- Identify defects in data mapping, data transformation logic, and reporting layers.
- Support automation efforts in data validation and data comparison where applicable.
Required Skills
- Strong handson experience in SQL, including writing, debugging, and optimizing queries.
- Experience with Duck Creek Data Insights or Duck Creek data models (preferred).
- Good understanding of ETL workflows, data pipelines, and data transformations.
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle, and database administration tasks.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Experience working with API-based data ingestion and cloud storage (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Ability to collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments.
Good-to-Have
- Exposure to Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, Claims).
- Experience in automation for data validation (Python/SQL-based frameworks).
- Understanding of PnC Insurance domain.
