Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Contract Services professional with strong expertise in commercial law and contract management. The role involves leading complex contract negotiations, providing legal and commercial advisory support, and mentoring contract specialists while ensuring compliance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, structure, negotiate and close complex client contracts and sourcing/procurement deals.
- Draft, review, redline and negotiate high-complexity contracts including:
- Master Service Agreements (MSA)
- Statements of Work (SOW)
- Amendments and Change Orders
- Provide commercial and legal advisory to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Review and approve contracts prepared by Contracts Specialists and Senior Contracts Specialists.
- Collaborate with clients to prepare commercial proposals and contractual documents.
- Develop contract management guidelines, SOPs, playbooks, and templates.
- Participate in supplier negotiations and support clients on operational contract matters.
- Manage team deliverables, work allocation, and prioritization.
- Track deliverables and report progress to stakeholders.
- Train and mentor junior contract management team members.
- Identify improvements in contract templates, metadata storage, and process workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in contract management processes and tools.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial law and contract management expertise
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Strong contract negotiation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- High attention to detail
- Ability to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel)
- Familiarity with contract management tools such as Ariba, ONYX, SMART is a plus.
