About The RoleProject Role :DevOps Engineer
Project Role Description :Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Educational Qualification :15 years full time educationAbout The Role :Extensive experience with relational databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL, with a strong command of SQL for database scripting, performance tuning, query optimization, and data migration tasks. Works closely with database administrators and application teams to support schema design, indexing strategies, partitioning, and database lifecycle management in both on-premises and cloud-native contexts.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines across Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Applies Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform to provision and manage scalable, secure, and reliable environments.
Builds and manages CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Implements automation strategies for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management. Ensures high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance through proactive monitoring, backup strategies, and cloud-native tooling.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design fault-tolerant architectures and integrate security, logging, and monitoring into DevOps workflows. Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting (Bash, Python), and source control (Git).Core Skills
SQL:Advanced query writing, stored procedures, triggers, schema design, performance tuning, data transformation, and automation
Terraform:Infrastructure-as-Code for multi-cloud provisioning
DevOps:Gitlab CI/CD automation, version control, release management
Databases:Oracle (including OCI), PostgreSQL and (Preferably Cockroach DB)
Cloud Platforms:Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Scripting:Bash, Python, Shell scripting
Security:Role-based access control (RBAC), key vaults, SSL, audit logging
Backup/Recovery and Migration:Strategy design, automation, DR drills for DB and cloud environments
Kubernetes:Helm charts, deployments, services, config maps, secrets, autoscaling, ingress controllers, monitoring, and logging
