Role- Sr Java Engineer
Location- Gurugram
Work Mode- Hybrid (3 days)
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, Microservices, and Message-Oriented Middleware, with hands-on experience in AWS-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years of experinece in Java.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Java (8+).
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Architect and implement event-driven and message-based systems.
- Integrate applications with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, JMS, SQS, or ASB.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA) to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term fixes.
- Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment in cloud environments.
Mandatory Technical Skills-
- Programming Language:
- Core Java (Java 8 and above)
- Strong knowledge of OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, Streams, and Exception Handling
Mandatory Skill 1-
Java Middleware
- Spring Boot
- Spring MVC
- Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
- Spring Security (good to have)
- Kafka (Must)
Mandatory Skill 2
API Middleware / Microservices
- Microservices architecture and design patterns (Must)
- RESTful Web Services
- API versioning, security, and performance optimization
- Experience with inter-service communication (REST / Messaging)
Cloud (Mandatory)
- AWS (mandatory exposure)
- EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, IAM (preferred)
- Understanding of cloud-native application design
