Job Description
Position Summary
The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for administration, implementation and enhancement of the Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform for our enterprise. This role requires a strong background in IGA concepts, deep expertise in the Saviynt platform, and a proven track record of delivering complex security projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in the IAM/IGA space, with a focus on implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand end-to-end implementation lifecycle of the Saviynt IGA solution, including design, installation, configuration, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements for identity lifecycle management, access request, access certification, role management, and segregation of duties (SOD).
- Design and implement integration points between Saviynt IGA and various target systems (e.g., Active Directory, HRMS, cloud applications, databases) using Saviynt's connectors and APIs.
- Configure and customize Saviynt workflows, rules, and reports to meet specific client needs.
- Provide technical leadership, best practices, and guidance to internal teams.
- Develop and execute test plans, migration strategies, and post-go-live support plans.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the BAU phase/ enhancements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
- Saviynt Expertise (Mandatory): Extensive hands-on implementation experience with the Saviynt IGA platform. Must be proficient in:
Core Saviynt modules (e.g., Access Governance, Application Onboarding, Certifications, Request Management).
Customizing Saviynt's user interface, forms, and workflows.
Integration with Saviynt connectors and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management (joiner, mover, leaver) processes.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Python, or other scripting languages.
Expertise in database technologies (SQL, stored procedures).
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their native identity services.
Experience with protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
- Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Saviynt Certification (e.g., Saviynt Certified Implementation Engineer).
- Experience with other IGA solutions.
