Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL).
• Expert-level proficiency in Databricks with Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing, Spark optimization, and ETL/ELT design patterns.
• Proven experience implementing Azure-based data architectures.
• Proficiency in Power BI, data modeling, and designing optimized semantic layers.
• Solid foundation in data governance, metadata management, data security, and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203, DP-500, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience designing event-driven architectures using Kafka/Event Hub.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workloads (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps practices.
