Job Description
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
- Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong coding ability in at least one language (Python, Go, Java, Node.js, RPA, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise with Kubernetes, containers, Kafka, Mongo DB and distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, ITRS, Splunk).
- Proficiency with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, etc.).
- Experienced with SLIs/SLOs and error budget design.
- Incident response and runbook design.
- Performance engineering and capacity planning.
- Chaos engineering and resilience testing techniques.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication, especially under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and support.
- Ownership mindset and proactive reliability thinking.
- Understanding of Gen AI, Agents and Copilot will be added advantage
- Flexible to work on rotational day shifts, floating weekends and extended hours when required. (5:30 AM 2:30 PM / 1:30 PM 10:30 PM)
