Job Description: Lead Software Engineer
Role Summary
The Lead Software Engineer will drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions. This role demands strong technical leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software development using the .NET stack (.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC).
- Architect and implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsproduct managers, designers, engineersto define and deliver technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Optimize development processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Manage project timelines and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC.
- Strong SQL skills: Ability to write complex queries, understand relational data models, and troubleshoot database-related issues effectively.
- Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, dependency injection.
- Proficiency in client-side scripting (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks like Angular, React, or Blazor.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
