Ai Engineer Agentic Ai & Workflow Prototyping @ IBM

We are building a small, elite AI strike team embedded in the Marketing, Communications, and CSR (MCC) Strategy & Operations team. The mission is to move fast, explore whats possible with agentic and conversational AI, and prove value quicklybefore anything is scaled or productionized elsewhere.

This team operates as a rapid-action unit focused on experimentation, learning, and proof-of-value rather than long-term platforms or production systems.

In this role, you are a hands-on builder on that squad. You design and prototype AI agents, copilots, and workflows that turn loosely defined ideas into tangible demonstrations that inform clear go / no-go decisions.

A reporting or dashboarding function

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and build rapid AI and automation prototypes

Develop agentic workflows using LLMs, tools, and reasoning patterns

Experiment with RAG, tool-calling, and orchestration approaches

Translate incomplete ideas into working proofs of concept

Surface technical risks, constraints, and limitations early

Iterate prototypes quickly based on feedback and usage

Structure experiments for clean handoff if scaled
