Domain: IT Infrastructure & Service Desk Operations

Role: Individual Contributor / Subject Matter Expert (SME) / SPE

The Mission

We are looking for a highly proactive Technical AI Rater to join the ML Content Rater project. This project is focused on building an intelligent, automated taxonomy to revolutionize technical knowledge management. In this role, you will not just be "labeling data"; you will be the human architect of the models logic, providing high-level RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) to ensure the AI understands the complexities of technical support workflows.

The "Owner" Profile

We aren't looking for someone to follow a manual. We need someone who can write the manual. You are an individual contributor who takes full ownership of the accuracy and logical integrity of the data you handle. You thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment where workflows change as the model learns.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strict Taxonomy Adherence: Categorize and rate technical data across multiple workflows based only on the specific taxonomy provided by the client.
  • Expert RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback): Provide high-quality feedback to train ML models. You will rank model responses and correct any deviations from the clients "Source of Truth."
  • Technical Research & Validation: Perform deep-dive research into the existing knowledge base to ensure every annotation is technically sound and aligns with the clients established workflows.
  • Workflow Analysis: Review automated outputs and provide corrective data based on your experience in Tech Support/Service Desk environments.
  • Autonomous Execution: Manage your own workload and maintain high throughput and accuracy without the need for constant manual instruction.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Technical Domain Expertise: Experience in IT Tech Support, Service Desk (L2/L3 preferred), or Infrastructure Support. You must understand ticket hierarchies, SLAs, and troubleshooting logic.
  • ML & Data Literacy: A strong conceptual understanding of how ML models are trained and why human feedback (RLHF) is critical to model convergence.
  • Analytical Rigor: The ability to look at a piece of information and determine not just what it is, but where it fits in a complex organizational structure.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to work in a highly dynamic environment where project requirements and toolsets evolve rapidly.
  • Proactive Mindset: You are an individual who seeks out work, identifies gaps, and improves processes rather than waiting for instructions.
