Job Description

' Enhance the business processes by building work flow tools and automating processes on Excel and SharePoint
Web development on SharePoint and automating data reports using, Java Script, VBA or Python
Propose and drive efficient alternatives to existing internal business processes
Automation of present processes undertaken by teams across risk for better governance
Coordinating with global stakeholders to deliver projects
Extending aid in the analysis of responses received and presentation of findings
Achieve good understanding of Risk Management policies/procedures
Achieve understanding of the deliverables
Achieve good understanding of policies/procedures
Propose appropriate questions to be asked to enable the Risk & Control team to evaluate embeddedness of the policy/procedure in BAU processes
Attentively, attend the Risk & Control meetings to be able to minute the discussions
Mind set:
The candidate must have experience in web development and SharePoint tooling
Candidates should have basic understanding of Risk Management
Candidates should be fluent in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Financial Risk Terminology
Knowledge of JQuery, Excel Macros and JavaScript framework will be an added advantage
Candidate to have secured A/A- in OOP (Object oriented programming)
Familiarity with MS Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Some experience with VBA/Python would be an added advantage
Strong logical ability with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Computer Science (preferably having done electives in Economics and Finance)
A strong desire to learn the process as a basis for development of risk management skills within a global investment bank is a key attribute for any candidate.
