Job Description:-
We are looking for an experienced Oracle & SQL Developer with strong expertise in enterprise database environments and data engineering.
The role involves database design, data migration, ETL support, and close collaboration with application and infrastructure teams to ensure data accuracy, availability, and performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and support Oracle and SQL Server databases in enterprise environments
- Execute and support data migration projects, including source-to-target data movement and validation
- Work with ETL processes to ensure accurate and consistent data transfer between systems
- Perform database backup and restore activities to ensure data availability and disaster recovery readiness
- Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and relational structures
- Ensure data accuracy through data certification, validation checks, and reconciliation activities
- Maintain updated data dictionaries and technical documentation
- Support database operations on Windows-based SQL Server environments
- Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams during deployments and migrations
Must Have Skills:-
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server in Windows environments
- Practical experience in data migration projects
- Clear understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Solid knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
- Experience in database backup and restore activities
- Knowledge of data modelling including tables, relationships, and constraints
- Experience maintaining data documentation and data dictionaries
- Proven experience working in production database environments
Good to Have Skills:-
- Exposure to data certification and data validation frameworks
- Experience supporting regulated or large-scale enterprise systems
- Knowledge of database performance monitoring concepts
- Experience working in cross-functional data or platform teams
- Prior experience in banking or financial services domains
