 Salesforce Marketing Cloud Quality Analyst

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Marketing Cloud Quality Analyst to support testing and validation of marketing campaigns, customer journeys, and marketing automation processes. Resource should be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and seamless execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels including email and push notifications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Journey Testing

Perform end-to-end testing of Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys and campaigns.

Validate journey configurations including entry sources, decision splits, wait activities, and triggers.

Test email and push notification triggers to ensure correct campaign execution.

Email Template Validation

Validate email templates for personalization, dynamic content, and correct rendering.

Verify links, images, CTAs, and subscriber personalization strings.

Ensure templates meet campaign requirements and quality standards.

SQL & Automation Testing

Test SQL queries used for audience segmentation.

Validate Automation Studio workflows including data imports, extracts, and scheduled automations.

Ensure automations execute correctly without errors or data inconsistencies.

Data Validation & Integration

Validate data flow between Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

Ensure correct data mapping and synchronization between systems.

Verify campaign audience data and segmentation accuracy in Data Extensions.

Engagement & Scoring Testing

Validate engagement tracking metrics such as email sends, opens, clicks, and push engagement.

Test engagement scoring logic and ensure correct tracking of campaign performance.

Defect Identification & Resolution

Identify, document, and track issues in journeys, emails, automations, and data flows.

Work closely with developers, marketing teams, and campaign managers to resolve defects.

Perform regression testing after fixes to ensure stability.

Campaign Go-live Support

Support campaign launch activities and post-deployment validation.

Provide hypercare support after campaign go-live.

Coordinate handover to Support Operations/Monitoring teams (SOM) after successful deployment.

Required Skills

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

Knowledge of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.

Strong understanding of SQL for audience segmentation and data validation.

Experience with campaign testing and marketing automation QA.

Knowledge of data validation, data extensions, and subscriber data management.

Resource is required to work from Bangalore client location in Hybrid mode
