Job Location- Greater Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore & Hyderabad
Mandatory Skill: Property & Casualty, P&C, Insurance, Java, GOSU, J2EE, Typelists, PCF files, XML, JSON, Cloud/Digital, onprem, PC 10.x
Coforge is seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Developer to design, configure, and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter applications. The role involves hands-on development, customization, and integration within P&C insurance implementations while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter components
- Perform Gosu-based development for business logic and extensions
- Configure PCF screens, product model, and policy rules
- Work on policy lifecycle transactions including Quote, Bind, Issue, Endorsement, Renewal, Cancellation, and Reinstatement
- Develop and support integrations using SOAP/REST web services
- Participate in unit testing, defect fixing, and production support
- Collaborate with business analysts and testers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Adhere to Agile/Scrum delivery practices
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Guidewire & Technical (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Strong proficiency in Gosu programming
- Experience using Guidewire Studio
- Good understanding of Guidewire Entity Model, Typelists, and PCF
- Strong experience in PolicyCenter configuration and customization
- Experience with Guidewire Rules (validation, assignment, eligibility)
Insurance Domain (Mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance
- Hands-on experience with policy lifecycle workflows
- Exposure to personal lines and/or commercial lines
Integration & Data (Mandatory)
- Experience with SOAP and REST Web Services
- Working knowledge of XML, JSON
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Guidewire database concepts
- Experience integrating PolicyCenter with Billing, Claims, Rating, or external systems
Development & Tools (Mandatory)
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environment
- Exposure to version control tools (Git / SVN)
- Experience with unit testing and debugging
- Ability to support production issues and enhancements
Good to Have (Preferred)
- Guidewire certification (PolicyCenter)
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud / Digital
- Exposure to performance tuning and upgrade projects
Education / Qualification- BE/ B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. / M.CA / M.TECH / Any Graduate.
