Role Details
ASDM Cash is responsible to ensure effective cash management and smooth day-to-day service delivery at the branch, aligned with regulatory requirements and internal service standards. The role focuses on operational excellence in cash handling, customer service support, compliance adherence, and Cross Sell.
Overall Job Description
- Manage all aspects of cash handling at the branch, including vault operations, teller functions, ATM/CDM operations, and cash reconciliations.
- Ensure daily cash balances are maintained within permissible limits; forecast and request additional cash as required.
- Conduct end-of-day cash balancing and reporting, ensuring zero discrepancies.
- Ensure efficient processing of high-volume cash transactions at teller counters.
- Resolve escalated customer issues related to cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, or ATM discrepancies.
- Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, and SOPs related to cash operations.
- Maintain accurate records for audit readiness, including teller logs, vault registers, and cash movement documentation.
- Oversee replenishment, reconciliation, and maintenance of ATMs and Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs).
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution of ATM/CDM issues.
- To generate business through cross sell and referral generation.
