Job Description
Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for end-to-end financial management and operational finance support for the Singapore and Hong Kong markets. The role will work closely with the country commercial teams, supply chain, distributors, and external consultants to ensure strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Governance
- Oversee end-to-end accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Lead month-end closing for Singapore and Hong Kong entities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support monthly financial reviews with country leadership and regional finance teams.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data in SAP and reporting systems.
- Manage Grant of Authority (DOA) processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Distributor Management
- Manage distributor financial processes, including reconciliation, claims review, and financial tracking.
- Track and analyse secondary sales performance and provide regular insights to business teams.
- Support Accounts Receivable (AR) management, ensuring timely collections and monitoring outstanding balances.
Inventory & Supply Chain Finance
- Review inventory levels, provisioning requirements, and reconciliation.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Management (SCM) on inventory planning, purchase order reviews, and supply tracking.
Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the Singapore and Hong Kong markets.
- Monitor performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Support pricing and margin analysis for distributor and market strategies
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
- Partner with the Business Head and country team to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Support adhoc requests & analytics to support reporting & operations.
Compliance, Audit & Tax
- Coordinate with external consultants for statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements in the territories
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements
- 68+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or commercial finance roles.
- Strong experience in financial operations, accounting, and business partnering.
- SAP experience is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to inventory accounting, distributor management, and supply chain finance is desirable.
- Experience supporting international markets or offshore teams is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with teams across geographies.
- High level of ownership, proactiveness, and attention to detail.
